Tech Soup

Powered by CompuMentor, one of the nation's oldest and largest nonprofit technology assistance agencies, TechSoup.org offers nonprofits a one-stop resource for technology needs by providing free information, resources, and support. In addition to online information and resources such as The Learning Center and Services (be sure to browse these), they offer a product philanthropy service called TechSoup Stock. Here, nonprofits can access donated and discounted technology products, generously provided by corporate and nonprofit technology partners. There are also free downloads.

Open Office

Fantastic freeware for any platform. OpenOffice is the answer for anyone needing full-featured office software: word processing, spreadsheet, database, drawing, and presentation software all rolled into one.

We use it here at African Conservation Fund and can attest to its power and usefulness. Say goodbye to expensive licensing and technical problems!
