The challenge is great. Many of the existing conservation bodies have not begun to tackle the critical themes that threaten the essence of East Africa's vital ecosystems. Through community-based collaborative management, a proactive approach, and your help, African Conservation Fund will meet this challenge.

Shop for Conservation

Our Art for Conservation products are now for sale on eBay through their generous GivingWorks program (free listings for charities). Click here  to start shopping now for the future of wildlife and communities in East Africa.

Sandstorm Kenya, makers of fine canvas bags, field gear, and seat covers, has teamed up with the new U.S.-based magazine, Overland Journal, to support conservation in East Africa. Sandstorm will donate to us 10% of the retail price of items sold through the magazine. Sandstorm is dedicated to supporting Kenya conservation, and has been a supporter of efforts such as Lewa Conservancy for years. We're thrilled to be a new Sandstorm partner.

Through eBay's Giving Works Program, we have a new supporter as well. Purchase this beautiful painting of a lioness and her cub, and a portion of the sale is donated to African Conservation Fund. Click on the photo to see more.

Giveline.com is an online store created for the community-minded shopper. Every purchase generates a substantial donation to African Conservation Fund – an amazing average of 16% of store sales, sometimes as high as 33%. Click here to shop for African Conservation Fund.

Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can donate their time to the cause. We are most in need of people to help us grow our network of supporters in the U.S. We do not have a formal program for volunteers in Africa, but will consider people on a case-by-case basis; we do not offer formal internships for students or recent graduates. We are most in need of skilled professionals who can travel independently in East Africa.

Current needs in the US:

•    Outreach assistance – Are you good at planning events and mobilizing people? Help us reach other people who are passionate about African wildlife and cultures.

•    Do you have experience creating web-commerce businesses and/or importing arts and crafts from outside the US and selling it here? Help us create a funds-generating business connecting with community-conservation oriented artists in East Africa and getting their products to market.

•    Do you have experience with micro-loans and setting up business incubators for Third World enterprises? Help us create a new program for nurturing conservation enterprises in East Africa.

•    Are you in the safari travel industry? Help us reach tour operators and booking agents to expand our outreach to East African travellers so more people can learn about—and support—conservation.

To become a part of the solution please send us an email » (if this link does not work, please use the Contact Us button on the top menu bar)

Current needs:

•    Travel – donate your AIRLINE MILEAGE and help us achieve our goals faster by saving critical cash for our conservation partners.

•    Business assistance – Are you willing to share business expertise with East African conservation partners? Business planning, financial planning, fundraising - particularly with in regard to conservation enterprises - are in high demand.

To become a part of the solution please send us an email » (if this link does not work, please use the Contact Us button on the top menu bar)
